InterneTree uses state-of-the-art JavaTM
technology to display an actual box-style tree on your Family Tree
Maker Online home page. You, your relatives, and anyone else with a Java-enabled
browser can see and move through your tree:
- Click a box to see all of an individual's ancestors and descendants.
- Scroll through the tree with the scroll bars.
- Zoom in or out to see more or less of the tree.
- Even search for the individual that you want to find.
- Each box contains dates and locations of birth, marriage, and death.
- Open a "Details" dialog box to learn more about an individual.
Adding an InterneTree to your home page is as simple as adding a report:
- Start Family Tree Maker and click the Online Toolbar
button.
- From Family Tree Maker's File menu, select Publish
Family Tree on the Internet.
- Choose the individuals that you want to include in your InterneTree.
- Click OK to transfer a copy of your tree to your
home page.
Then, enjoy your new, high-tech tree! This is a great way to share your
family tree with family members and friends who don't have genealogy software.
